Bench 5/7

When there was no running water, houses were built where water was available.

Oslavia, like the whole Collio - Brda area, is full of wells that accompany the settlements along the hills, indicators of at least as many underground water sources.

In 1909, the year of construction of the well, when it reached a depth of 16 m, the excavation was suspended due to the overflowing water from the source.

Even in periods of greatest drought, this has always been an available well and rich in water, often also drawn from the neighboors, not only in Oslavia.

This is where we decided to place our bench, so that it can interact visually with the history of the wells on our hill.
