Bench 6/7
Easily recognizable thanks to the road sign "Oslavia - Country of Ribolla di Oslavia", the Radikon bench offers an experiential stop that goes beyond admiring the view.
An old vat, a willow and a press identify what, for centuries, the inhabitants of Oslavia have handed down from generation to generation, a knowledge that has always evolved, conscious of its origins.
Oriented and positioned just like the Ribolla, therefore exposed to the South-East and rooted in the dura ponca, the Radikon bench offers the possibility of pretending to be a vine: the warmth of the first morning sun is clear on the face, on the left (from the North East) the fresh gusts of the Bora, on the right (South-West) the warmth of the sunsets. Behind the road, the only road that winds along the crest of the Oslavia hill and defines it, covering it from start to finish.
Beyond the table the Sabotino, the mountain that here has determined the life (and death) of many, too many people. It took 4 generations after the war to see it again covered with vegetation, first low and sparse and now finally lush, green and imposing.
A show that nature takes up in different shades throughout the year.
